Working prototype

Okay, this is all very new for me but you gotta start somewhere, right? So I want to learn coding games, Lua seems like a good choice for its simplicity, and TIC-80 is a whole development environment and it’s FOSS. How cool is that! The key of this project is figure things out from nothing but the tic80 wiki and the official lua docs. If you get the .tic file, and open the code, you may get the impression that I have no idea what I’m doing, and you’d be very much correct. It’s bad and weird and barely functional but that’s exactly the point. It’s functional, it’s there for me to learn. If it’s fun to play too, that’s cool but not the goal. It’s been in the works for about a week on and off btw.
